What raw actually means, what virgin has come to mean, and how to tell them apart in your hands.

The words got muddled

"Virgin" should mean unprocessed. In practice it often means steam-processed to a pattern and sold as natural.

What we sell

Raw hair: cut from one donor, washed, wefted. The pattern is whatever that person's hair does — which is why no two bundles are identical, and why it lasts.

How to tell

Raw hair frizzes a little in humidity, like yours. Processed hair does not, until it suddenly tangles and dies.
