How to Stack Rings Without Overthinking It

One anchor ring, mixed metals, and the finger you leave empty — a short guide to a stack that looks chosen.
Start with one anchor
Pick the ring you never take off — for most of us that is a plain band or a small signet — and build around it. Everything else is a guest.
Mix the metals, match the weights
Gold and silver on one hand is not a rule you have to follow; a slim silver chain ring beside an 18k band reads as considered, not accidental. What jars the eye is a heavy statement ring next to a hairline band on the same finger.
Leave a finger empty
Three rings across two fingers is a stack. Five across five is a costume. The empty finger is what makes the rest look chosen.
