The Penny Loafer

Our loafer is built the old way: the apron is hand-sewn, the sole is Goodyear-welted, and the whole shoe is lasted over a wooden form so it keeps its shape for years. It starts firm and moulds to your foot within a couple of weeks.

Materials — polished calf upper, full leather lining, Goodyear-welted leather sole with a rubber heel.
Fit — true to size for most; if you are between sizes, take the smaller, as the leather gives.
Care — use shoe trees, polish with a wax cream, and send it back to be resoled when the sole wears thin.
