Built to be kept
We would rather sell one jacket that is worn for ten years than three that are worn for a season. So we cut with extra cloth in the seams, leave trousers unhemmed and answer every sizing question before an order is placed.

brand-storyYour OWN story: a photograph (or a film) and the words beside it like a spread, or the photo across the top — heading falls back to the store tagline. For one product, use `products/spotlight`

Every piece starts on the cutting table: the cloth laid out, the pattern chalked, the shears run once along the line.
We half-canvas our jackets so the chest shapes to you over time, leave trousers unhemmed so they can be finished to your length, and press everything by hand before it leaves.
features-columnsThree or four columns divided by hairlines — a fine gilt icon, a serif title, a line
Ask about fabric and care in store.
Half-canvassed jackets that shape to you and keep their line.
Generous seams and open hems so every piece can be finished to you.
Every piece is pressed and checked before it is packed.
before-afterOne piece across two occasions — two photos laid over each other with a handle to wipe between them

Hands in pocketstestimonialsClient notes as cards on a linen band: stars, the words in the serif, the client (photo or a gilt monogram) and the piece they bought, linked. The head shows the store's Queek rating, or the average of the notes' stars. Arrows and a hairline gauge page the cards past three; a phone swipes them.
The shoulder sits exactly where mine ends, and the lapel rolls rather than lies flat. It looks like it was made for me.
The hopsack is cool enough for an afternoon outside and the horn buttons are beautiful. I wear it with everything.
High-waisted, single-pleated and properly pressed. The wool drapes like nothing else I own.
Finally, tailoring cut for a woman — shaped at the waist without being tight. I asked about sizing first and ordered once.
stepsHow it is done, in order — numbered stages along a hairline (a fitting, an order, a ritual)
Four checks that take the guesswork out of ordering tailoring.
Lay it flat: armpit to armpit across the chest, collar seam to hem down the back. Compare with the measurements on each piece.
The seam should end where your shoulder does. It is the one part that cannot be changed, so size from here.
A jacket should cover your seat; trousers arrive unhemmed so they can be finished to your shoe.
Sleeves, waist and hems are simple work for a good tailor. Ask us which alterations suit each piece.
icon-rowThe small assurances on one ruled line — a fine icon and a few words each (packaging, alterations, payment)
filmThe house on film. cinema: the film edge to edge, looping silently behind a scrim, the words low on the left in white, a button and a round play control that opens it with sound. framed: on paper, the words beside the film set in a mount. A YouTube or Vimeo link shows the poster and plays in the viewer; with only a poster the section stands as a still.
A short description of your brand that sets the tone for the whole experience.
