How to choose a ring size

How to choose a ring size

Three reliable ways to measure at home, and what to do when you fall between two sizes.

Start with a ring that fits

The surest measure is a ring you already wear on the same finger. Lay it on a ruler and read the inside diameter in millimetres, then find it in our size guide.

Or measure the finger

Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length: that is the circumference. Do it at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest.

Between two sizes

Choose the larger. Wide bands fit tighter than slim ones, so go up half a size for anything over 4 mm.
